BEN BAMENT’S first goal for Cribbs sent Cribbs into the third round of the FA Vase as they came from behind to beat hosts Thonbury Town.
The former Bristol Manor Farm man Volleyed home what proved to be the winner with 15 minutes left to leave his teammates breathing a collective sigh of relief after wasteful finishing earlier in the match. Marcus Wormwell had fired the hosts in front five minutes before the break, but they couldn’t protect the lead through to half- time as Joe Hillard levelled in stoppage time with a looping header to the far corner.
