Bury JACK Atkinson emerged the shootout hero as overcame hosts Hallam.
Former Shrewsbury keeper Atkinson pulled off two massive saves to deny first Liam Royles and then Brett Agnew in the spot-kick lottery.
His teammates proved far more clinical, Ben Wharton, Connor Comber and Anton Smith all finding the net before Lewis Gilboy clinched victory.
Atkinson’s opposite number Julian Lawrence denied Gilboy twice and Wharton once to keep the first half goalless and those saves looked priceless when Agnew gave the hosts the lead on the hour followi...
