RUVIM PONOMAROV became an instant hero as Pinchbeck won a five-goal thriller against Dunkirk in the FA Vase.
The Ukranian striker, on loan from Stamford and on as a half-time substitute, met a Nathan Steven Cross at the back post to steer home the winner with eight minutes left of a breathless tie.
Avelino Viera fired the hosts in front on 20 minutes as the visitors waited in vain for an offside flag, but it was all square two minutes after the break courtesy of George Harrison’s close-range finish.
