FOUR-STAR STONE TOO HOT FOR HINCKLEY

STONE ensured they were the first team into the hat for the second round draw after sweeping aside hosts Hinckley on Friday night.
The MFL Premier outfit made the perfect start against their Division One opponents by opening the scoring after just 12 minutes, Louis Anthony turning in a corner that was not cleared by the Hinckley defence.
Sloppy defending allowed the visitors to double their lead on 25 minutes when a wayward pass was gathered by Matt Thomas who ran in on goal before slotting past keeper Finn Osborn.
