DI GUISEPPI STARS AS HAMMERS MARCH ON

COBHAM 2 EDGWARE & K’BURY 1

COBHAM came from behind to defeat Edgware & Kingsbury in an entertaining contest in the first round of the FA Vase.
The visitors started well and took a deserved lead through an own goal in the 17th minute.
A shot from the impressive Edgware winger Emerson Dju struck the crossbar and the rebound crashed into Cobham defender Lloyd Connelly’s back and rolled into the net.
Going behind roused the hosts, and they duly equalised in the 24th minute.
