■GREENWICH claimed a hard-fought victory in a wind affected match against play-off contenders Lewes.
Lewes had the first chance of the game, as young Charlie Coppola’s shot was blocked before a corner was cleared off the line by Lewis Clark.
But Borough took the lead in the 25th minute as Charlie MacDonald latched on to a missed clearance and tucked it home.
Borough continued to maintain pressure as the debutant Malachi Hudson created problems.
And Greenwich held firm to take all three points.
