AHMET RIFAT’s header gave Wingate a win which relegated Grays.
The all-important goal arrived after 37 minutes when Rifat perfectlyplaced his stooping header from Ben Pattie’s corner.
Rob Laney had an early header blocked. Reece Beckles-Richards’ backheel from Luke Ifil’s cross was stopped on the line by Grays’ centre-back Chidi Williams-Agunabor.
Ifil’s 18-yard piledriver was parried away by Grays keeper Tangara Amadou. Ifil’s headed wide from the edge of the six-yard box. And Pattie forced another save from Amadou before Laney...
