Dabbers snatch controversial point

A CONTROVERSIAL equaliser denied Spennymoor Town a deserved win over fellow play-off rivals Nantwich Town.
Curtis Jones bundled home a 64th-minute corner, wrongly awarded by referee Rebecca Welch, to earn the Dabbers a share of the points after Shane Henry had superbly fired the Moors into a seventh-minute lead.
Moors had much the better chances in the game as Graeme Armstrong perhaps should have doubled the lead when he got away into the area, but blazed over the bar with just keeper Daniel Gyollai to beat.
