THERE is no doubt that when your luck is out in football it is definitely out. Mickleover were forced into changing their line-up before kick-off due to an injury picked up in the warm-up.
They went on to dominate proceedings but were unable to convert their possession into goals. They were twice denied by the woodwork, once hitting the post and also hitting the bar.
Sports were at their best in the first half and the opening minutes of the second. But, as is so often the way, not taking the chances when on top can be disastrous.
