CHATHAM secured a last-gasp point thanks to a Justin Ascheri penalty as they battled back against East Grinstead.
The home side will regard the game as two points dropped after they had led 2-0 at the break and looked nailed on for the victory.
Marcus Elliott was the star in the opening half as he pounced on 24 minutes to score the game’s opening goal. And five minutes later he doubled their lead.
