THE wind was the winner for large parts of the first half as players had difficulty in getting the ball down.
There was nothing to choose between the sides, with Bury having an early chance when Oliver Fenn’s header was touched over by home keeper Michael Gooch. Vickers came close when Mitch Hahn side-footed inches wide.
Bury had a chance just before the break when Josh Mayhew back-heeled past a post. The second half was more of the same with both sides struggling in the conditions and chances at a premium.
