MUCHhas happened since these sides met in the FA Cup last September, as Maidenhead recovered from defeat then to go on and take the National League South by storm to earn themselves a first season at Step 1.
Early exchanges resulted in both keepers watching free-kicks fly over their respective crossbars, although Max Worsfold’s cross-shot needed smothering by Carl Pentney in the visitors’ goal.
