■ BRACKLEY TOWN rounded off an unbeaten pre-season with victory at Oxford City.
Substitute James Armson scored the only goal just before the hour mark to give Kevin Wilkin’s men plenty of confidence ahead of the new season.
Brakes’ enforcer Shane Byrne was in the thick of the action for much of the afternoon, and his long-range effort was well palmed past the post by goalkeeper Craig Hill minutes before the interval.
