Reds get a working over as Penrith dig deep

A BRACE form Jordan Irving saw Penrith home in this all-Cumbrian affair at Frenchfield Stadium.
It was Irving who gave the Bonny Blues an interval lead racing clear from half way from Adam Main’s pass before slotting home with ease. Earlier, Andy Murray-Jones eased past Reds defender Matty Douglas only to fire wide as the pressure mounted. In fairness, both sides were below strength in what began as a lackluster encounter, with Kieram Maguire’s shot on the turn deflecting past the Penrith post.
