DUNSTON took the lead three times and held on when it mattered most as they edged out Ossett United 3-2 in an end-toend thriller to progress in the FA Trophy.
The match started in frantic fashion as Dunston’s Scott Heslop put the home side in front after just three minutes, but Ossett responded in impressive fashion and Jack Vann equalised seven minutes later.
The second half started much the same as the first as Dunston scored early, Craig Scott delivering a great cross to Mark Fitzpatrick who calmly headed home to put Dunston in front again.
