LAURENCE SORHAINDO grabbed the only goal of the game to set Brighouse on the way to pre-season victory.

The Step 4 side came out on top against the Northern Counties East League side.
With the new season still a few weeks away, Brighouse manager Vill Powell took the opportunity to field a vast majority of trialists in the first half.
It was to be an Orange Army regular who separated the sides on 38 minutes, however.
A cross-field free-kick from Brighouse captain Mike Starkey beat the Penistone goalkeeper Chris Snaith and was headed in at the back ...
