Halesowen Town 1-2 Kiddersminster Harriers: Early strike sets Harriers on the road to a win

TWO first-half goals were enough for Kidderminster to end Halesowen’s six-game unbeaten pre-season run.

Harriers made a great start when Keziah Martin converted a third-minute rebound from a wide angle after home goalkeeper Dan Platt saved from Sam Austin on the break.
Halesowen’s Richard Gregory struck the base of the post after ten minutes but the visitors went close again when Omari Sterling dragged wide and Platt made a blocking save from Ethan Freemantle mid-way through the first half.
