WOOD GAME POSTPONED

WALSALL WOOD have reassured fans after yesterday’s NPL Midlands game against Bedworth United was postponed.
Wood saw boss Ian Long resign a fortnight ago over “multiple broken promises” which sparked a player exodus, while the playing budget has been cut.
On yesterday’s postponement, a club statement blamed “factors outside of our control” but also aimed to allay fears.
