DARLINGTON made light work of the Teesside rain as they maintained their 100 per cent record in pre-season with a comprehensive victory at NPL Premier outfit Stockton.
Summer signing Aiden Rutledge scored twice as Quakers opened up a three-goal interval lead after Cedric Main had broken the deadlock early on.
Darlington started on the front foot and had already threatened with Town keeper Nathan Harker making important saves to deny Rutledge and Jack Maskell.
