STRUGGLES: Southport face a tough season in National North

CAN’T think of a better way of stopping the rut at Southport than to sell to an interested party comprising of a local businessman and a director who hasn’t bailed on the club.
Phil Hodgkinson and Nigel Allen can offer a change all Port fans are seeking. It is terribly draining to support a team consistently battling against relegation and the stands at Haig Avenue are growing more scarce of fans as a result.
