GROUNDED WINGS ARE STILL FLYING

WELLING United player-boss Jamie Coyle has welcomed a week out of action – even though they have the momentum of three straight wins behind them.
Coyle’s in-form side defeated Havant & Waterlooville 3-2 away last Saturday despite finishing the game with nine men, while outfield stand-in goalkeeper Connor Dymond saved a late penalty!
But as a result of being surprisingly beaten 2-1 at home by Step 4 Haringey Borough in the last round of the FA Cup, Coyle’s men have a break from the action this weekend ahead of their next fixture, at home to Chippenham Town ...
