Give Aspin more time

AS a lifelong Gateshead fan, I would like to wish Neil Aspin good luck in his move to Port Vale – and ask the Valiants to please give him time.
Aspin transformed us into a strong National League side and it’s great to see him returning to his former club.
We so nearly returned to League Two, and Aspin provided us with some great memories.
Port Vale are obviously struggling in their league, but if he’s given time, the ex-Vale legend can turn things around. He will get them sound defensively, full of confidence and scoring goals.
