ALAN’S BURNING AIM

FORMER Watford, Leicester City, Peterborough United and Notts County right-back Alan Paris has taken over as manager of Uhlsport Hellenic Premier basement side Burnham.
Paris, 53, who began his career as a youth team player at Slough Town and went back there once his League career was over, takes over from Mark Betts who has left the club.
Burnham have also moved to scotch rumours that former Market Drayton Town manager Lee Ebden has become chairman.
Malcolm Higton has been acting chairman since Gary Reeves stood down from The Gore at the end of last season.
