Cup needs cash!

IT’S great to see the FA are planning to pump more money into the FA Cup, but the only area that needs attention is the earliest rounds where the cash can be life-changing.
At the moment, extra preliminary rounds net clubs £1,500 (for the losers). This is nowhere near enough. Take money from the top and inject more romance into the cup. Grassroots football is what it’s all about
