TYLER’S ‘PUNCH’ CLAIM IS PROBED

WEALDSTONE are investigating claims that Woking assistant manager and Sky Sports commentator Mar tin Tyler was punched by one of their fans.
The 72-year-old is said to have been struck in the back by a spectator in the aftermath of Matt Lench’s late penalty for the home side on Monday night.
A crowd of 1,323 watched Wealdstone end Woking’s faultless start to the season at Grosvenor Vale in a game which saw the visitors’ Dan Spence sent off in injury time.
