HISTON eased their way into the FA Vase second round with goals from Danny Gould and Dan Brown helping them to a replay victory over Colney Heath.
It’s been ten years since village side Histon were making FA Cup headlines as they famously beat Swindon Town and Leeds United to reach the third round proper where they took on Swansea City.
Back then the Cambridgeshire outfit had risen up the Pyramid and were knocking on the Football League’s door. They’ve fallen on tougher times since and slipped back down to Step 5.
