BAY BOY IS MOURNED

TRIBUTES have been paid to former FA Vase winner Robbie Livermore who tragically died on Thursday night.
The midfielder played over 200 games for Whitley Bay and neighbours North Shields.
Paul Chow, who was Livermore’s teammate when Whitley Bay won the Vase in 2008, wrote: “Absolutely devastated to hear the heartbreaking news of Robbie’s passing. Gem of a guy. Thoughts are with his family and friends. RIP mate.”
Whitley Bay chairman Paul McIlduff added: “Robbie was a great character and very popular with fans and players.”
