SPARE a thought for Staffordshire Senior League side Florence, whose current record stands at played 23, lost 23, goals for 10, goals against 268!
Even though they get hammered every week, they still turn out and give their best in the true tradition of Non-League football.
Although I’m a lifelong Stoke City supporter, my admiration for the lads at Florence FC knows no bounds. May the good times soon return.
