LOCAL HERO IS TO THE RESCUE

OADBY Town are back in business – just days after folding through financial difficulties.
A local businessman, who has not yet been named, has now agreed to help finance the club.
Last Friday, chairman Sacha Jak announced that the Poachers were pulling out of the United Counties Premier with immediate effect.
The club’s fixture against Holbeach United last Saturday was accordingly cancelled.
However, supporters and local people have rallied round to pull the Poachers back from the brink, donating to an emergency crowdfunding page which was set up to raise £1...
