DAN MAGUIRE’S early goal was the difference between the sides as Blyth Spartans played on Stockport’s nerves and took the points from Edgeley Park becoming the first team to do so in nearly seven months.
For Blyth boss and former Hatter Alun Armstrong it was a bittersweet victory.
