Clifford edges it for the Rebels

BILLY Clifford’s longrange strike moved Slough to within three points of the play-offs, after a tight contest with Welling. Chances were at a premium in a forgettable first-half. But the Rebels nearly led at the start of the second half when Clifford and Josh Jackman combined to set up Matt Lench whose shot hit the side netting.
