Gate ‘can stand’ Libertines link

THE LIBERTINES will continue to sponsor Margate next season – and have revealed a special third shirt to celebrate the deal. The band, best known for their popular hit ‘Can’t Stand Me Now’, became the shirt sponsor of the Bostik League club at the beginning of the season on both home and away kits. The smart marketing move saw a big increase in sales and now fans will be able to get their names embroidered into the design for the new strip, which is being called ‘The Libertines History Kit’.
