■HEBBURN TOWN marked their first season back in the top flight by finishing runners-up.
Luke Sullivan‘s 17th-minute penalty and a second from Graeme Armstrong brought a 2-0 win over Consett. Champions Dunston UTS finished 17 points clear after a 3-0 win saw hosts Bishop Auckland finish third. Top scorer Mark Fitzpatrick, Dan Halliday and Liam Brooks found the net.
Bottom club Penrith were hit for six at Sunderland RCA, who finished fifth. Whitley Bay lost 3-1 against
