SEAGULLS’ RELEGATION CONFIRMED

WESTON’S relegation was confirmed with a whimper as Hampton & Richmond went home with three points.
Goals from Ruel Sotiriou and Ryan Hill either side of half-time were enough for the Seagulls to be condemned to the drop.
Back-to-back victories had given Weston a slim chance of survival, but with two games to play they are down.
It is the first relegation in the club’s history – spelling devastation for fans at The Optima Stadium.
