QUAKERS HIT AVENUE PLAY-OFF HOPES HARD

STEPHEN THOMPSON’S goal ten minutes from time was enough to ensure Darlington beat Bradford PA at the third time of asking this season, and give Quakers a third win in a row.
They followed up wins over FC United and Boston to make it three in succession for the first time this season, and all without conceding.
They remain in the bottom half of the table, but the result damaged Bradford’s play-off bid, Mark Bower’s side now having won one of their last six games.
