BEN Hodkinson netted a late brace as Widnes came from two goals behind to stun promotionchasing Colne with a thrilling 3-2 triumph at a sun-baked Halton Stadium.
The Reds came into the game with their play-off chances in their own hands, and they started well when Reece Webb-Foster capitalised on a defensive error to sweep home.
Alex Curran then added a second midway through the half to give them breathing room, beating Richie Mottram with a ferocious drive at his near post.
