BLYTH Spartans continue to rack up the games and wins in pre-season after victory at Ashington.
It was warm-up game number seven – eight if you include a hit out against their own reserve side.
Blyth have won all but one of them, at home to Morpeth, one of four games in a gruelling eight days.
With boss Lee Clark on holiday in Spain, assistant Paul Stephenson took charge and was happier with the result than the performance.
