A COMBINATION of bad play and bad luck ended Salisbury’s hopes of progressing into the next round as they slumped to a 4-2 defeat at the hands of Margate.
After Gate’s Elliott Reeves missed an early chance, the Whites responded when Dan Fitchett’s effort was saved.
After ten minutes, Nathaniel Oseni should have converted a headed chance from Josh Somone merton’s corner.
Margate took the lead on 23 minutes out of the blue when Kadell Danie’s curling half-volley gave his side the lead.
