YOU had to feel sorry for Grays Athletic this week after their FA Cup eviction was announced in the same week that Liverpool FC received a slap across the wrist for committing what appears to be the exact same ineligible player offence in the Carabao Cup.
Liverpool brought Pedro Chirivella off the bench in their 2-0 victory over MK Dons despite the midfielder not having an international transfer certificate, which was required after the 22-year-old returned from a loan spell with Spanish club Extremadura last season.
