STU ON A MISSION

WISBECH St Mary have turned to club stalwart of 20 years Stuart Beckett to perform a ‘mission impossible’ and save them from relegation.
The club has appointed defender Beckett as player-manager at a time while seven points adrift at the bottom of the Eastern Counties Division One North.
Beckett replaced former Chatteris Town Alex Kaufman who quit the club last week after just four months in the job.
A club statement said: “Stuart has been at the club for 20-plus years and is a true Saint. The club would like to wish Stuart every success in his new role.”
