NON-LEAGUE has followed the Premier League’s lead in postponing prematch handshakes between players and match officials due to the Coronavirus.
The UK government has pledged £46m on urgent work to tackle the virus – including more money to develop a vaccine and cash to help some of the most vulnerable countries prepare for an outbreak.
Now the football world is doing its bit with the Premier League and EFL saying pre-match handshakes between both teams and officials will not take place until further notice.
