Fixture secretaries deserve a medal

WHILE everyone is moaning about VAR in football etc, let’s just spare a thought for the unheralded people who make our beautiful game tick week in, week out?
I am referring, of course to the fixture secretaries, who work hugely long hours across the length and breadth of the country in ensuring games take place amid our wonderful English weather.
They deserve a huge cheer.
