IT IS clear here that some 80 per cent of fans’ views on this subject will be tainted with self-interest.
But sometimes football has to come second.
As the virus ravages through Europe there can be no thought of recommencing too soon, so I feel outstanding matches have to be completed in a sensible timeframe.
Even if the new season started in late autumn, there is the capacity for the Non-League season to be accommodated using all available midweek dates.
