THE current season must be completed – even if it means waiting until June or July.
It’s the only way to achieve fairness, not only for teams like mine (South Shields) who have sizeable leads in their divisions, but also those with games in hand that can conceivably either make a challenge for promotion or get out of relegation trouble.
Now Euro 2020 has been delayed for a year, it will help any efforts to complete domestic programs across the whole pyramid.
Ending the season here and now brings about for me too many legal implications which could end up costing the game million...
