Priority has to be to protect our clubs

AS Non-League clubs prepare to lobby in protest at this week’s FA council to consider ratifying the voiding of the whole playing seasons, some alternative scenarios of extensions have been suggested.
Sadly, all aims to derail continuity would surely be unworkable as players contracts conclude at the end of June when clubs begin to prepare their playing budgets for the next season.
A better resolution would be to complete the present season by equalising all future results as draw zeros rather than as voids since matches were not void but fixed results with real consequences for relega...
