It’s ideal to bring in Step 4-5 plans now

WHILE I’m content to leave the debate about whether the FA were premature in voiding Steps 3 to 7, why oh why did they cancel the restructuring at Steps 4 and 5?
For next season, the planned creation of an eighth division at Step 4 and twp additional Step 5 leagues, thus bringing the number of Step 5 Leagues to 16, would by logic reduce the travelling costs for the majority of clubs at these levels.
This could be done with only a slight tweak to the rules set out at the start of the 2019/20 season – if necessary removing the play-Offs between bottom clubs at Step 4 and runners- ...
