Play-off patience

THERE was a suggestion that we’d get a decision one way or the other about the National League play-offs on Tuesday.
That was the day the board met to discuss the feedback they’d received from clubs about whether or not they felt it was feasible to run the play-offs.
As it was, we were left with a feeling of anti-climax after the National League decided it was better to sit on the fence for now.
In many ways, it’s perfectly understandable. The National League want to keep their options open while the EFL weigh up their next moves. Sometimes you just have to stay patient.
