Mini leagues are the way forward

WITH little safe prospect of football for the time being, let’s just continue the 2019-20 season in what would have been 2020-21.
Outstanding 2019-20 league and cup games could follow a sensible pre-season with additional games being played in a mini-league format of, say, groups of eight teams, going on to a knockout phase.
Not ideal but surely better than the current mishmash and threats of legal action - the only winners being the legal profession.
