ANGRY Altrincham say the government has “damned” clubs at Step 2 to second-class status by refusing to permit play-off games.
Alty are set to finish fifth in National League North under the proposed points-per-game system and were prepared to fork out the £50,000 for testing and other expenses required to participate in the play-offs.
