THE long-awaited and highly anticipated return of the Premier League has proved to be something of a damp squib.
The matches have lacked goals, let alone excitement, and I can only hope that the National League play-offs somehow fare better although there is likely to be even more problems with the fitness of players at this level.
The lack of fans at games has massively hindered the watching experience with the dubbed crowd noise still struggling to replicate the real thing.
